The Archdiocese of San Fernando’s Mother of Good Counsel Seminary (MGCS) invites everyone aged 16 and up to participate in VOCARE, its Vocation Jamboree.
Vocare, which takes place this year on the 25th of February 2023 at MGCS, is an annual event in which every delegate will encounter an extraordinary experience of God’s call. It is open to all, especially the youth of our parishes and institutions, to experience an inspiring moment as they strive to live out the life of Jesus Christ as his disciples and friends.
With the theme “Resurgence! Reinvigorating the Fire of Vocation!”, it also gives every delegate the opportunity to witness the greatness and various faces of vocation and to embrace the challenges of the Faith, especially in modern-technological times.
Vocare will display the charisms of the invited congregations to which the delegates will be introduced throughout the Jamboree. Furthermore, the participants will learn about these religious congregations, their thrust, charism, and mission in the Universal Church. A keynote speech will also be given, followed by a group sharing in which the delegates will share the fruits of their reflections on the speaker’s insights with one another. Vocare will conclude with prayer and worship and will commence in a Eucharistic Celebration in the morning presided over by His Grace, Archbishop of San Fernando, His Grace, the Most Rev. Florentino G. Lavarias, D.D.
