As one family, the Archdiocese gathers once again on 08 September 2018 (Saturday) to celebrate the nativity of the Blessed Virgin Mary and to commemorate the 62nd Re-enactment of her Canonical Coronation as beloved Patroness of our province.
In line with this year’s Year of the Clergy and Consecrated Persons, the theme for our Archdiocesan celebration is “Maria, Piyalimbauanan ding Mitagulaling kang Cristo” (Mary, Exemplar of Consecrated Persons to Christ).
The Schedule of Activities is as follows:
29 August 2018 (Wednesday) Arzobispado de San Fernando
Traslacion da ring Mal a Larauan
3:00 pm Assembly
4:00 pm Procession of the Holy Images from Arzobispado de San Fernando to the Metropolitan Cathedral of San Fernando
30 August – 07 September 2018 (Metropolitan Cathedral)
Three (3) Moments with Mary:
6:00 AM Lauds for the Blessed Virgin Mary followed by the Holy Mass
11:00 AM Novena and Devotions to the Virgen de los Remedios and Sto. Cristo del Perdon
Followed by the Holy Mass
4:30 PM Rosario Biblico y Cantado followed by the Holy Mass
The Sacrament of Anointing of the Sick will be administered everyday at 9:00 AM. Confessions will also be heard daily from 3:00 PM to 5:00 PM.

Procession of the Holy Images of Virgen de los Remedios and Sto. Cristo del Perdon to Pampanga Capitol Grounds (follows after the Opening Rites)
Nota Bene: The Capampangan Clergy are enjoined to participate in the Opening Rites at the Metropolitan Cathedral which will commence at 3:00 AM and to likewise assist during the Communion.

4:00 am Holy Mass and Re-enactment of the Canonical Coronation of the Virgen de los Remedios (Vicariate Host: Holy Family Vicariate)
Nota Bene: The Laity are asked to refrain from bringing unnecessary things during the celebration for their convenience and so as not to compromise security and safety.
After the celebration at the Capitol Grounds, the Holy Images of the Virgen de los Remedios and
Sto. Cristo del Perdon will be brought back to the Cathedral. Masses are scheduled at 10:00 AM, 12:00 Noon and 3:00 PM for devotees who would wish to visit the Holy Images. After the 3:00 PM Mass, the Holy Images will be brought back to the Repository Chapel at the Arzobispado de San Fernando.
Let us all together continue our deep devotion in honor our dear Patroness, the Virgen de los Remedios and glorify the Lord Jesus, our Sto. Cristo del Perdon!

RE: SECOND COLLECTION FOR THOSE AFFECTED BY THE RECENT SOUTHWEST MONSOON OR HABAGAT
Greetings of Grace and Peace!
As an act of generous solidarity with our cabalens who have been adversely affected by the calamity brought about by the effects of the Southwest Monsoon or Habagat, let us undertake a second collection in all Masses on August 26, 2018 or September 2, 2018.
Based on the 22nd of August 2018 SACOP Disaster Monitoring and Emergency Assistance situation update: ninety-three (93) barangays in ten (10) mostly coastal municipalities out of the twenty-two (22) municipalities of Pampanga province are under flood waters from a half foot to six (6) feet affecting 105,875 families (399,115 persons) and of which 1,109 families (4,480 persons) in fifty-five (55) barangays have sought refuge in seventy-seven (77) evacuation centers. Eight (8) municipalities have been declared under “State of Calamity” – Macabebe, Masantol, San Luis, San Simon, Sasmuan, Sto. Tomas, Minalin and Guagua.
Please remit all second collection to the Finance Department on or before the 5th of September 2018. Donations in kind (e.g. rice and canned goods) will also be greatly appreciated; kindly bring these directly to SACOP.
