SEMINARS SCHEDULED
The archdiocese wishes to inform that our Archdiocesan Commission on Basic Ecclesial Communities (ACBEC) scheduled the orientation seminars on the Establishment of BEC’s in the Parish this coming month of September. The Commission Members decided to group the vicariates into four (4), including the seminary, and assigned particular dates for each group:
Group I: 02 September 2023 (Saturday, 8:30 am to 12:00 noon)
Christ the King Vicariate
Mary, Help of Christians Vicariate
Blessed Trinity Vicariate
Group II: 16 September 2023 (Saturday, 8:30 am to 12:00 noon)
Saint John Marie Vianney Vicariate
Mother of Good Counsel Seminary
Virgen de los Remedios Vicariate
Holy Redeemer Vicariate
Group III: 23 September 2023 (Saturday, 8:30 am to 12:00 noon)
Sacred Heart Vicariate
Holy Spirit Vicariate
Saint John the Beloved Vicariate
Group IV: 30 September 2023 (Saturday, 8:30 am to 12:00 noon)
Saint Augustine of Hippo Vicariate
Holy Family Vicariate
Saint Joseph Vicariate
The orientation seminars will be held at the Virgen de los Remedios Function Hall, Arzobispado de San Fernando, San Jose, City of San Fernando, Pampanga. May we kindly request the Parish Priest of each parish to attend, together with two (2) parish lay leaders.
It would be better if the two (2) lay participants are chosen from the BEC Core Group that are already being established in the parish community. We will prepare the merienda but lunch would be “pot luck”. May we kindly request you, brother-priests, to use the parish fund for the food that you would bring and share during the said scheduled orientation seminars.
We request the Seminary Rector (or his priest-representative) to attend the orientation seminar scheduled on 16 September 2023, together with two (2) seminarians (representatives), one each from the Philosophy and Theology Departments. Your presence is important for this would give you the opportunity to learn how you can establish BEC’s in the seminary community, according to your situation.
